Our Mission:

My Chow Line is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to helping our US military personnel & veterans and first responders through cooking and sharing their unique stories, providing a therapeutic approach to alleviate the stigmas servicemembers and first responders experience as a result of their service to our country and local communities.

Our Vision:

My Chow Line has big ideas for what our nonprofit should look like in the next 5 - 10 years and beyond…

As My Chow Line grows, we envision acquiring a large piece of land and adding a barn-styled building complete with a commercial kitchen and several workstations. We would also like several personal-sized smokers around the barn. The plan is to host barbeque camps and cooking competitions for our active duty servicemembers, veterans, and first responders. As a prize for the winners of the competitions, we would like to be able to send them home with a brand-new smoker as well as other prizes! We also envision several “tiny homes” or campers on the property so that our distinguished guests can stay on site. This reduces travel and allows additional time for forging new bonds of friendship.

Another vision is acquiring a food truck/trailer and a food truck license. (We do have to have the commercial kitchen first per state rules and regulations.) Having a food truck license will extend our reach even more.

While the main focus of the My Chow Line Team is to serve our community first, we do dream of extending that reach! Attending veteran events and networking is also part of the plan. Hopefully, we will grow enough to open additional locations to serve even more veterans and first responders!
